Services
Four things, and the documents come first.
Most accessibility vendors sell you a website audit. Your website is one part of the obligation and usually the smaller one — a city publishes hundreds of documents a year and almost none of them are tagged.
-
Document remediation — PDF/UA-1
Agendas, minutes, public notices, budgets, forms. This is the part most cities have not started and the part with the largest surface. We remediate to PDF/UA-1 (ISO 14289-1) and verify with veraPDF, so the conformance result is a machine check rather than an opinion.
Our pipeline requires no Acrobat licence, which is why it scales to a full document backlog rather than a handful of priority files.
-
Website remediation
We audit your existing site against WCAG 2.2 AA, fix what is actually broken, and hand back the evidence of what was tested and when. Not a scan and a bill — a fix and a record.
-
New accessible builds
Accessibility from the first commit rather than retrofitted at the end. Retrofitting costs more and produces a worse result, because the structural decisions that break accessibility get made early.
-
Ongoing monitoring
Accessibility regresses the moment someone uploads a new PDF. A one-time remediation is a snapshot, not a state. We will say so plainly rather than sell you a project and let it decay.
How we test
Automated tooling catches roughly a third of the WCAG success criteria. Any vendor whose process is "we ran a scanner" is selling you a third of a job and calling it done.
axe-core automated testing across every page
Deterministic contrast verification over design tokens — not eyeballed
Manual keyboard and screen-reader QA, because roughly two-thirds of WCAG criteria are not machine-detectable
veraPDF conformance evidence for every remediated document
A signed VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report

We will run your site and a sample of your documents against the same standard the rule uses, and tell you where you actually stand. No obligation, and you keep the report either way.
